The Azht Trade Program works with boutique hotels, interior designers, and studios to develop distinctive fragrances for the spaces they shape. Every formula is composed by a master perfumer in our Brooklyn studio and bottled in micro-batches of two hundred units or fewer — built to be remembered, not recognised.

Scent, composed for the property.
Every trade account begins with a private consultation with one of our three master perfumers. We build a scent from our 1,200-ingredient palette against a mood brief, your brand's existing materials, and the architecture of the space — never from a white-label template. You retain exclusivity within your market segment for the life of the formula.

Minimums that respect a small operation.
We work with properties and studios at every scale — from a twelve-room guesthouse commissioning its first signature candle to a two-hundred-key hotel refreshing its lobby quarterly. Our minimums are written so a considered property can begin without overstocking.
- Candles: 48 units per SKU per order (assorted scents permitted)
- Reed diffusers: 24 units per SKU per order

- Net-30 terms available after the first reorder

A dedicated account team.
Trade partners are not routed through a generic inbox. Your property is assigned a single account contact who coordinates reorders, refills, custom labelling, and any scent adjustments across the life of the program. The same perfumer who developed your formula reviews every production batch.

We review every application personally. The more we understand about your property or studio — its scale, its existing scent program (or absence of one), and what you hope a signature scent would do for your space — the more substantively we can respond.
Most qualified applications receive a written response within five business days. Properties that fit our program minimums are invited to a thirty-minute consultation with one of our perfumers, no obligation.

- What are the minimum order quantities?
- Candles begin at 48 units per SKU per order; reed diffusers at 24 units. Assorted scents are permitted within a single order, which is how most smaller properties begin — pairing three or four signatures across rooms rather than committing to a single formula in volume.
- What are the lead times for a custom scent?
- Custom development runs eight to twelve weeks from brief to first delivery: two weeks of perfumer composition and revision, two weeks of cold-throw testing in our studio, then production in your specified micro-batch. In-stock catalogue scents can ship within ten business days.
- Is scent exclusivity available?
- Yes. Trade partners commissioning a custom formula may elect property or market exclusivity for the life of the scent. Exclusivity carries a modest annual licensing component and is scoped to the segment you operate in — hospitality, residential design, retail, or otherwise.
- How do refills work for vessels and bottles?
- Our refill program ships concentrated fragrance in aluminium or glass refills sized to your vessels. You keep the original candle glass or diffuser bottle in service; we replace only the inner cartridge. To date, the program has kept 8.2 tons of glass out of landfill.
- Do you ship internationally?
- We ship to 41 countries. Shipping is carbon-neutral on every order, and we work with a small number of regional freight partners for properties placing recurring quarterly orders. Duties and import VAT are quoted upfront and itemised on your invoice — no surprise charges on delivery.
- Can you support amenities for guest rooms?
- Frequently. We produce amenity-scale candles, room sprays, and miniature diffusers for turn-down service and welcome gifts. Custom labelling with your property wordmark, embossed lids, and gift-box packaging are all available, scoped per project.
