Boy how times change. The crv has been mine for 2 years now.

Ive replaced the battery with OEM honda, ive replaced both fans and the radiator on it, Rebuilt the starter. Did a 2" lift, replaced suspension, replaced the axles, 1" oversized tires and removed the running boards.

The motor is tired and has been over heated a few times. At 240,000 miles and a lot of abuse(including the ex fiance leaving it run for 8 or so hours at work) the compression is low in cylinder 1. It still starts up fine and drives around decent but definitely lacking power and eating gas.

Debating a full trans and motor swap with jdm import parts for about 1600$ or selling cheap and getting a pickup.

Some low life idiot cut off and stole the resonator today, yes resonator not the catalytic converter.. so much for having a decent daily driver..

love me a 4runner but deff not in the same price range as my crv lol.
$1600 cr-v, $200 lift spacers, over sized tires (235/75 R16), new struts and control arms good to go.

well i did end up replacing the engine about 2 months ago. decided it had enough one morning and wouldnt start. went to the local parts yard and got an 04 element for 300$, put the engine in the cr-v and back on the road. still debating what i want to do with the old k24a1 either scrap it or do a piston/rod setup to swap in the integra.
