We've been getting a rash of these assholes lately. Can we get more mods or implement a post count limitation or something?

It's something we do on another forum I'm on that sees about as much traffic as AZHT. It keeps the spammers from spamming the forum, and it allows us to make sure that the new guys are cool. It's just a small post count limitation of 10 posts that prevents new people from posting anywhere other than the New Members' area.

10 posts might not seem like a lot, but it's enough to find out what you need to know about a new member.

I'm getting tired of hitting the report button. Can we just limit new joins to the new join forum for 5 posts or something?

I delete the few daily. They aren't up for long. It is only a couple/few threads a day.

I don't think the people who take care of the "core" forum upgrades and whatnot are present anymore, so everyone will just have to wait till I log on daily and delete/ban the threads.

Could we get the report button timer lowered or something? That 60 seconds really halts my spammer reporting.
