so i found a brand new oem 2002 civic coupe front bumper for 27 dollars

but on another site it was like 127 dollars. even though theres a considerable price difference do you guys think id have a problem going with the one that is 27 dollars?

If you are going to waste money painting it I would just browse CL or here until you find an OEM, or buy something that at least is known to fit.

I got mine from honda when I had to replace it. Not ebay crap. Or knock off brands that won't fit.

I dunno i kind of feel this is a legitimate post, with a legitimate answer.

aftermarket parts can be up to 10% off of oem specs so with that much difference you don't quite know how it will fit. I've witnessed 1st hand when buying a driverside fender from cyc parts a few years ago. I couldn't get it to fit right along the hood and where the fender meets behind the bumper. It was a bitch to work with and i swore oem for life! Its best imo to buy your part from another honda owner or the junk yard and just be safe all the way around. But you're right this is a legit post I just lol'd when I saw another 'azht help' thread. :)

im thinking about it. my license got unsuspended today so i can finally drive, im just waiting for the new premiums on my insurance from the underwriter.

So your license was suspended for x amount of months and todays a day where its not suspended? Did you go back to the MVD and get it re-instated? Cause if not, its still suspended. Been there done that.

not yet because im still waiting for my insurance but by tomorrow i should have my insurance taken care of then im going to drive to the MVD and get that taken care of also. i was just goig to drive there, but i figured ill just wait till i get insurance, i dont want to get pulled over for some bogus ass reason and then get a ticket for something like that.

is it possible to reinstate it over the internet?

I had mine suspended for 3 months and I drove on it and once it wasn't suspended I got pulled over and they didn't say anything. And atm I didn't know you had to reinstate them.

the general quoated me at like 236? which is cheapre than what i was paying with statefarm even before my license got suspended.

i dont mind pyaing 236 though, i make enough.

Before everything happened on my driving record I was paying around $250 for full coverage. After my 2 accidents gieco wanted to charge me $834 a month. I callled them and told them to fuck off I'm canceling. And the guy I talked to said I don't blame you. I pay $140 for full coverage now. I have a good insurance broker. And I have more tickets than I can count on both hands 2 accidents, a criminal ticket and I pay $140.

i'd never buy an oem honda bumper cover for a civic. Certifit parts fit just as good as oem. No problems and they last just as long. Hell nobody could ever tell that my civic tails were actually certifits
