Hopeless EP3 02-17-2009 01:46 PM

^^ Well at least I gave you a LS tranny since you were planning on boost

phxz6 02-17-2009 02:29 PM

haha i know thanks, you still got those axles i want to get them as backup just incase mine snap.

Hopeless EP3 02-17-2009 02:52 PM

I got them if you want to pick them up I wouldn't recommend launching on them tho -.- the only thing you should be safe doing with those is preloading

84b18 02-17-2009 05:39 PM

whats a "full drag" coil over?
i don't think it is possible for the 88 to be under 1,800 lbs but even that is SUPER light.
the car looks good

b18civic 02-17-2009 05:54 PM

this makes me want a crx!

azracer41 02-17-2009 08:12 PM

i think what he means is full coilovers that are tuned for the quarter mle as in spring rate and stiffness. probably progress full coilovers?

95CIVICex 02-17-2009 09:32 PM

phxz6 02-17-2009 09:57 PM

Yea my bad it has full coilovers set up for drag they are extremely stiff and about the weight of the car, a stock manual hf weights 1819lbs, so 200lbs is not hard at all to remove from a car. Anyways i have not weighted the car so i can not prove to you it weights that much, but when i go to the track i will wieght it and let you know.

Just some amazing CR-X's:thumbup:

1990SI 02-17-2009 11:01 PM

I'll post pics later, but I have a 1990 crx si.
I have a d15b6 swap in it for now ( so it can get me from here to there).
I have a d15b
bought some crower rods and vitara low compression pistons
A rb25 turbo ( t3 I belive)
Skunk2 exaust
Stock interior
Drilled and slotted all around disk breakes
Some sparco buckets
Zex cam shaft
Aem cam gear
Victor x intake manifold.
I plan on going anywhere from 16-18 lbs of boost.
Still needs some work but should be done by the summer of 09.

azracer41 02-17-2009 11:05 PM

boosted D :clapper:

1990SI 02-17-2009 11:09 PM

Gotta love boost lol.

crx2quik4u 02-18-2009 02:04 AM

cleaner then some.......nice car!

HondaFreak 02-18-2009 02:10 AM

I love white rexes!
CLEAN!

Hopeless EP3 02-18-2009 02:25 AM

coilover setup thats up to him if he wants to tell you what it is but for the weight issue

I weight in at 170x with that car (I weight 180 pounds)

car was fully stripped, cf hood, full lexan, and back hatch bottom was cut out...

before I sold it to him I replaced the rear hatch to a si hatch and replaced original doors with glass in them.. so the car isn't as light as it was before

I got another HF sitting in my friends garage waiting for me to do a transplant :) trying to decide H2B or K20a stroked to 2.4 :)

to phxz6 you coulda given the car a wash -.- those numbers from when I went to FiR are still there xD bitches kicked me off the track :(

84b18 02-18-2009 11:30 AM

thats crazy. i have a friend with a 3800 99 camaro and the car weighs 3,800lbs and our cars make similar power.

WEIGHT
1985 (lb/kg)1713
1986 (lb/kg)1713/778 dx1819/826 si 1953/886
1987 (lb/kg)1713/778 dx1865/847 si 1978/898
1988 (lb/kg)1819/826 dx1922/873 si 2017/916
1989 (lb/kg)1834/851 dx 2048/930 si 2138/970
1990 (lb/kg)1967/893 dx2103/954 si 2174/987
1991 (lb/kg)1967/893 dx 2103/954 si 2174/987

i guess im rong it seems 1,700 is probably possible then. sorry about that. i guess thats why they suffer so bad from collision. i would triad some weight for steel fenders if i could any day tho.

84b18 02-18-2009 11:37 AM

what size and how much were they? i might go for black
looks awesome!
