Back in a Honda

nice leggings :drive:
Thank you. They are very comfortable :)
I like how it's stock.
It has never been molested until now. There is a reason why they call me Chester the molester.
Just kidding, I told my girl to leave it alone but noooooo, she wants to start doing shit to it ( she has never owned her own vehicle that she can just fuck around with). First thing she wants to do is the headliner. It’s all tore and the visors are even worse. So I’m going to let her choose the pattern and teach her how to get it done. I have all the parts to do the full tune up, sometime this week, when we both have the time. |
Yeah they tend to look like a cat clawed at them from the heat out here.
We were about to do the tune up, and noticed my girl struggling to take out spark plug from cylinder 2. I tried to give a shot and it wouldn’t budge. So I finally gave in and used an impact gun. Turned out the spark plug was completely crossed threaded.
So the tune up is hold until I can tap the head with a new helicoil |
I got one visor done. I’m also going to be doing the arm rest in the same fabric. I just need to go to Joanna for a wider fabric size since Walmart didn’t have anything bigger than 44in.
Don’t remember where I seen this but I know I seen it before on fb or ig lol. I miss having a Honda lol
lol, probably instagram or snapchat?

so replaced te fuel line, air filter, oil and oil filter, spark plug wires and just waiting on getting a spark plug helicoil.
Als bought 3 yards of black fabric for the headliner and possibly the door panels |
Darn an automatic. *(saw the solenoid on the transmission in one photo). Looks nice though!
5spd swap... easy peasy.
So I picked up some “Ray” wheels for dirt cheap but I don't think they are real? either way. I planning on running 205/50/15 all around after I clean them up a bit.
Also, finished the headliner! |
headliner and visors look good ;)
thank you.
I'm debating on doing lowering springs/ struts combo or coilovers. lowerings probably be tein or dropzone. struts tokico coilovers would be Tein Flex, skunk2 or BC Racing |
a nice drop spring with tokico would do just fine unless you can find a smoking deal on coilovers
i run eibach springs and tokico blues on my integra and it is a nice drop and nice ride. no complaints :party2: |
wheels will look good on the car once you get them cleaned up. good pick up :autored:
I forgot about Eibach  I may just get some struts and lowering springs. We don't plan on tracking the car so coilovers maybe a bit overkill.
I may be interested. if we don't buy a full set by IFO. I'll hit you up. |
I don’t have much of an update, I’ve been busy packing and getting ready to sell my house. But I’ll be picking this up this weekend. I’m sure it’s all eBay, but I can use the GT45 for my truck build and the manifold for when I go b-series on the civic.
Really haven’t done much to it.
Ex wife crash the CRV I bought so she needed something to take my son to school and finally get her ass to work. So she has had the civic for the last month. Been thinking of just doing a b20 5spd swap since I’m getting tired of the auto transmission. |
So my ex wife told me the radio went out. Apparently the previous owner’s grandson installed the radio. He did a hacked off a job so it shorted out. So, I picked up a new Bluetooth pioneer and got to work on it.
While tearing everything apart. I found the OEM radio with keyless module! It wasn’t connected so that explained why my FOB never worked. I then picked up a new harness so I can connect the factory radio (OEM security is powered by the radio). I cleaned up the harness too. I think it looks cleaner. So I took the time to relocate it to the cup holder area. This weekend I plan on making a block off plate for the upper radio area to cover the old broken radio it had (you can see it in the picture) |
:smokin:
Just little something I’m working on the side.
New motor to blow, again lol All cleaned up |
