Hey Peeps, havent been on here in a while. But my civc was totalled last month :( i was able to take the Kro out before they took my car. So its up for sale if you want it or know anyone who wants it..... I had locash install the kpro on a donor PBR ecu lil over a year ago.

you need to unregister it before you it can used on another vehicle. andd since you have a lack of contribution and post count on this forum, you won't be selling it here.

Ya i know i have low counts and posts but i have been a member since 08 if that means anything. And im local if you ever want to come take a look at it. It will come with the kpro cd and the USB cable. Unfortuantly i dont have the reverse cam gear, i didnt have enough time to get it off the car, Farmers insurance wanted to take the car asap.

Can't use it without that gear. Shit you could have just slid it off and the OEM one back one. That gear is $180 by itself.

What cam gear are you speaking of?

Oh and posts don't mean shit imho....I don't get on here to often because I already know what people are going to say. I don't want to, nor have time to deal with the idiots who make this site a joke. There are a few people on here who do make it worthwhile for me to stop into the subsections and actually make pointful posts.

Yeah, i didnt have time to take the reverse cam gear off. There was a lot of goodies i havd on
my car that i wish i coud have taken off before the other insurance company took my car :(

Like ABCfreak says, im not on here much either. usually just to read info on about my car to see how to fix it. Here or on civic forum.

The K motor spins in the opposite direction and the cam gear that comes with it has a pickup on the opposite side.

BTW, if anyone sees this thread and bitches about you not have 150 posts I'll have to 86 it, but I'll let it slide to hook up the em2 owners as I'm partial.

K series is frontwards...every other engine is backwards....

Infracted I own an RSX, I know how the engine sits but this is the first I've heard of having to have a cam gear to have kpro work :confused: perhaps I just read it wrong idk.

Ah what you don't know is that the ECU is an RSX donor, meaning the cam gear is needed for the ECU to understand while the d spins the opposite way.

Frankthetank was partly correct. If this is the new version 3 Kpro, it has optional password protection to prevent unauthorized use if it gets stolen. Since it was installed a little over a year ago though, I doubt it's the V3 since that was just recently released.
