Got pulled over for reckless driving and failure to obey an officer both misdemeanors. Never been in trouble in the past and actually going to to school. Officer was on a power trip and took me to 4th Ave jail. Going to be fighting both charges, so any good lawyers or info would be great!

It was road rage related and I couldn't pull overy safely. Had my hazards on and driving slowly

Going more for personal experience but appreciate it

My brother is a criminal defense lawyer, however the firm he works for charges anywhere between 250 and 400 an hour. So unless you plan on spending around 5k you may want to try and just plea down to a criminal speeding which happens most of the time anyway.

Yeah just talked to some lawyers and they want $1000-$2500. Bunch of my co workers said to not to get a lawyer. Think I mostly need help with the best option

You need legal shield ...

ask the guards for tapes or witness showing you were obeying the officer and his the one that went crazy on you.

if you ask to fight it and the officer doesn't show, you win. It has happened to me a few times, sadly still had to pay the lawyer. That is the reason why, everyone tells you not hire a lawyer, just get witness on your side.

This happened on the freeway. The only people who saw me get arrested were a couple of my co-workers and when the cop had his lights on me I had my hazards on and going no more then 30 mph

So after the road rage incident. I was getting off the freeway to go to work. That's when the officer got behind me on the off ramp. He had his lights on and I was on the lane to make a left hand turn. There was no where to pull over so kept driving with my hazards on to the nearest place to pull over which was my works parking lot. Then I got arrested.

he specializes in police misconduct. He also speaks at all the concealed weapons classes( how i heard about him)
