trans slipping wont go past 20 mph !!! help!!
 

so today i was backing out of a my parking lot and my car didint want to shift into drive and when it didt it would barely move when i accelerated so i triesd to drive it to work and it would not accelerate over 20 mph any one ever had this issue its a 2001 civic ex automatic

Need a trans rebuild very common

so not the fluid or nothing like that new trans huh how much is around abouts the price for a rebuild to you know or is it something u jst shop around for????

The oem filter in these transmissions are undersized and clog easy. Which in turn burns up the clutches.

ooo i see if the clutches burned wouldnt the fluid be discolored and smell burnt my fluid looks new think it could just be the filter
