Actually truth be told, I had nothing to do with the particular incident. I had a room mate that owed me rent and I let him have access to my account and the email attached to it to sell off some of his cards to pay his debt to me. Then I caught him trying to sell power 9 cards that he didn't have. After I confronted him he tried to assult me which led to him being evicted from my property. Police have been investigating this matter, and it's been proven that I am not involved. Actually all the money has been refunded, because it didn't go anywhere so this whole conversation is kinda pointless. Paypal froze the account on my request, and everyones disputes have been resolved. I didn't see a dime from this, just a bunch of headache. It was nearing almost $60K plus in just days, it was silly, and the only reason why I found out because I was out of town and Paypal called me to see if everything was ok, and I explained to them that I knew my room mate was selling cards, but wasn't aware he had such high dollar cards. After I investigated and saw he was selling pictures, shit hit the fan. When the police were escorting him out of my home, he tried leaving with some of my stuff as well, including an xbox. He even screamed about my 10 year old felony conviction trying to make me out to be the mastermind behind his plan. The guy even spent some of the money by purchasing lots of modern cards, about $6K worth through TCG player, but I later recovered it in a dispute since he sent the cards to a Tempe PO box in his name.

Granted the whole thing is a mess, and it's easy for someone to say and believe that I was behind it because well... I have an OLD criminal record from 10 years ago for Attempted Fraud. But it's not like this statement will be believed. But I had to throw in my two cents.

All I know is if I pulled off a 60k scam, i'd be driving a new NSX, just saying. My only fault is putting trust into someone who I actually considered to be a friend when I really didn't know much about him. Apparently he's done this to people before, and I am working with the authorities to make sure he is brought to justice, but I don't know how much can be done since everyone was refunded.

It is just like every other time someone has accused him of scamming them. He always has this long, drawn out, complicated story to how he had nothing to do with it.

Even if he actually had nothing to do with it (which I find hard to believe...) I wouldn't want anything to do with him just because all the "coincidental association" he has with scams...

Female member meets well known scammer at car show
Apparently while she was seeing someone else, female member beds down with JDM REV.
He somehow either forgets, Indian gives to score (most likely,) leaves large domo stuffed animal at her house.
He creates a thread to supposedly get back his big stuffed animal (which he should have given her as a consolation prize IMO)
Thread is really just to stir the drama up and brag about sleeping with female member.
No one is impressed.

Of course his version is different - but that is sum of it for all intensive purposes. There was something else in there about an X-Box, but most of it was him bragging about sleeping with a female - so it must not happen too often for him.

We will leave this at that - no more about that thread, subject, etc. I am sure she doesn't want more crap to come of it. It must have been embarrassing, but we all make mistakes.
