high output alternator
 

I think my alternator is crapping out. While sitting in rush hour traffic my voltage dropped to 11.4 w/ the AC on.

Anyone know of some high output ones that'll fit since the stock one is only 80 amps for the accord and 90amps for the prelude, is there anything more powerful out there?

Try ebay,i know on the prelude forums theres guys running some from there with good luck

140 amp yes. i think from a 96 accord model is what to use.

na I ended up using a prelude 90 amp alternator. I think my battery was so far down on charge that I had to first charge it and now its running great.

I heard of people using odyssey alternators which are rated at 130amps but you had to modify the connector and the ears might have been off slightly
