Fuel Injection Development

Anybody heard of them? They're cheaper than ID or FIC by a couple hundred dollars(2000cc). I've searched the web and they seem to be a new company and therefore not much info is to be found.

Any info would be appreciated.

BoostedJ 12-21-2014 10:05 AM

I seen a few cars running them with good results. As long as they are matched sets, I'm sure they are just as good as any other new bosch style injector.

king06 12-29-2014 03:18 PM

That's what it looks like, they do come matched, that's what makes them good.

Will see soon enough, I have a set. Not sure if I'm going to run them or the ID1000's yet.

:this-guy:
lol at the thought process of the OP and this guy trying to save a buck... especially on something as critical as fuel injectors

king06 12-30-2014 11:47 PM

Meh, to each his own. I have both id1000 and fid2000 will see how they do. Still haven't found anybody say anything bad about them so I'm sticking to them, "its a climb to the top, nobody is born there".

94tegls@msc 12-30-2014 11:57 PM

Feel free to read up and learn why companies like this FID are a joke and not worth wasting your money on. If you think that's all bullshit and still don't want to listen feel free to ask the respected local tuners on which they prefer... I can already tell you the answer.

king06 12-31-2014 01:15 AM

I've read all that, Nothing new. Injector Dynamics vs Fuel Injector Connection.

Still haven't answered my questions. Have you seen, used, tuned or heard about FID? That's what I "was" looking for at the time. I know for a fact ID's do exactly what they are supposed to do, but I already have the injectors, therefore they will get used. And unless somebody comes in here and shows me proof that they are a piece of shit and not worth running, they will be ran.

94tegls@msc 12-31-2014 01:55 AM

Cool, you already paid for the injectors so at this point who cares what other people think right? Why are you even asking at this point? Throw them in and find out what happens... its your car. No I haven't heard of them ever or used them because they are a small company and are obviously another ID imitator. Use the same bosch injectors ID's start out as, sell them for less, and make ridiculous claims about how well flow matched they are without any real data to back it up. Now they sit back and hope that people trying to save a buck decide to run them and then they can cash in real quick. Not really worth spending your own money on until a company that actually worth a shit tries them and says "hey they work like advertised". Until then... waste of money and you should have supported local business and just stayed with ID's.

king06 12-31-2014 02:29 AM

I didn't, somebody bumped the thread months after I had acquired the injectors. I just chimed in after the other person posted. So yea, I will run them since I already have them.

BoostedJ 12-31-2014 08:29 AM

They are good injectors don't get me wrong, but they are over hyped/priced IMO. And yes, I have owned and tuned both sets of id1000's and id2200's. So I do have alittle experience with them. There was a thead on another forum where a guy tested the id's, and there was a 3% difference arcoss the 4...

AZ_CIVIC 12-31-2014 09:17 AM

ID's just plain suck, no fast cars use them

94tegls@msc 12-31-2014 09:23 AM

Lol some guy on a forum who probably has no idea what hes doing and has shitty ASNUS test benches said they tested weird... Seems legit. Also your buddies cars that you have street tuned with your butt dyno doesn't mean shit so your word doesn't carry much. Also unless your gonna name drop a respected shop that you work for that people actually have heard of you are just talking out your ass about your tuning experience. There is a reason Cobb tuning, AMS, motec, and pretty much anyone who knows there shit runs ID's.

94tegls@msc 12-31-2014 09:31 AM

No one at all posted back to your thread after months anyways so I'm assuming you had them already once he actually replied. You wanted to save a buck on the injectors clearly and try an "ID imitator" company... Hopefully they work for you lol. When your car runs like shit and you decide to do the right thing which is not cheap out you know where the legit injectors are.

AZ_CIVIC 12-31-2014 09:34 AM

Are ID injectors really good:cool:

Chuck Chainz 12-31-2014 09:34 AM

You need a belated Xmas hug @94teg

king06 12-31-2014 09:45 AM

I remember seing that thread, injectors where tested multiple times on the same bench getting the same results. Even if it was s "shitty" bench wouldn't the results show much better than the more precise machines that get used from ID because of the better resolution?

Anyways, this isn't about ID vs everything else, like I said before, we all know ID's work.

94teg: are you a tuner or engine builder or just a hobby? Just curious.

king06 12-31-2014 09:53 AM

Yea, I posted the thread and like a week later the a deal came up where I could get them cheaper than id1000's, so I jumped on it. And how do you get they are imitators? Because they use the same high quality injector that can be modified? I'm not defending anybody, but you keep saying the exact same thing. "If they aren't ID, they are trash", show me proof they they suck, other wise you are just "talking out of your ass" like you stated.

C.R.A.Y. 12-31-2014 09:56 AM

94tegls@msc 12-31-2014 09:59 AM

Link to said thread? Most likely it was a competitor company using an ASNU bench which is a joke and doesn't test injectors dynamically... at all. Yes they probably would show much more accurate and consistent results on an ID bench.... But they werent tested there and never will be since ID doesn't have to so these comparisons to sell injectors. They let the product speak for itself. If you want to try and save a buck on injectors then godspeed to you sir... You are a brave soulf cheaping out on injectors. Also you COULd say I have a buddy that works at ID and I am a fan of the aftermarket injector game.

94tegls@msc 12-31-2014 10:07 AM

No on has tested or used these because they are pretty much a new company with a laughable website that doesn't have any data to back up the claims. Its obvious they are trying to make a buck and use the same business style ID is by saying how well they are matched and then provide no proof at all..

94tegls@msc 12-31-2014 10:18 AM

[quote=AZ_CIVIC;3227577]Are ID injectors really good:cool:[quote]

Na they are just "overhyped" which is why 9 out of the 10 fastest cars at Texas mile this year used them lol

AZ_CIVIC 12-31-2014 10:18 AM

Probably something like this, xtrac1 from Honda Tech who hates ID's and I think worked for RC Engineering.

[quote=94tegls@msc;3227585][quote=AZ_CIVIC;3227577]Are ID injectors really good:cool:Well dang, good thing I'm on the ID2000's:thumbsup:

94tegls@msc 12-31-2014 10:38 AM

Lol that was a good read. Oh I knew you were using ID's and just trolling when you said no cars fast use them... That's just ridiculous haha

AZ_CIVIC 12-31-2014 10:45 AM

Been using them since 08, first set of 1000's bought from Joe and now have been on ID2000's for about 1.5 years never an issue with either. You pay for quality which is nothing new, people who cheap out always pay double that's just a fact.
