GREATEST AZHT THREADS : Jdmrev at it again dont buy those cool magic cards from eBay
JDM REVEREND is located in North Phoenix near I-17 and Bell Rd, just one street north of Grovers.
Were located at: 2520 W Morningside Dr. Phoenix AZ 85023 Which is the North West corner of 25th Ave and Morningside Dr. As of right now I am by appointment only, hours of operation are expected to be from 8am-5pm M-F, Saturdays and Sundays 10am to 5pm. The shop will be selling new parts, at wholesale prices. Shop the competition first then come to me and I'll take care of you on price. We will also be offering stereo / audio services as well. Please inquire. The huge attraction is the ability to rent our bay by the hour. If your someone like me who lives either in an apartment or in an area with a HOA that won't allow you to work on your vehicle, bring it down to the shop, and rent out our bay to do whatever work you need to perform on it. If you need assistance, we can help you in any way that we can at a fair rate. This is a great option for you do it yourselfers out there, and you can even order your swaps and have it shipped directly to our shop where we will sign for it, and have it waiting for you to either have us install it for you, or for you to do it yourself. $15 hr, access to tools and the lift. $100 for a 6 hour (consecutive) package. $200 for 15 hours (can be broken up over a 30 day period) |

It's *almost* finished. Doing the flooring this week. I really wanted to be setup before black friday but I can't get my wish. I WILL be having my wholesale pricing till christmas sale however!

sweet setup man! good luck with everything!
|
i would probably not loan ur hoist to anyone. just my opinion. there are some people that arent trained to work with hoists and may drop their cars and it may be liable to u. maybe make something for the customer to sign that u are not responsible for damages or something like that.
great ideas and great shop hope everything works out. |
When will you open the shop for business?
I want to come check it out and look at your black friday deals. finally a shop on this side of town. |
Soon. I was waiting on my sales tax license stuff and I'm working with warehouse distributors.

Good luck with your new venture :) |
lol. I got a friend who's coming out from Cali who is graduating from UTI who will be my main mechanic. I can do some stuff, I haven't formally gone to school, would love to actually. But I have a bad back and really cant do car stuff full time, hence why I have a normal fulltime job. This is just a hobby and small business that I hope will build and grow into something bigger and better.
Thanks for the support. Stop by once were open to shoot some pool and play MW3 :P |
yes and i am going to be the other mechanic/ receptionist lol
|
UTI huh...? i wouldnt make them ur main mechanic. i would find someone that has experience as the main technician and maybe have the uti guy be the appretice or something like that. those guys that come out of school arent as good as they think they are. i know cause i was one of them. i came out of wyotech and had a lot of knowledge but doing it the real world is totally different.
cant wait to check it out though. building looks sick and the whole man cave part. i like. chicks cant wear more than bikinis |
hahaha hey he would get more customers
|
Tru dat.
|
and then at night make it into a hookah bar lol
|
This. I work with several UTI/MMI grads - and they are useless in a shop since they are "new" to it. I am sure they will get better - but as far as a "Main" tech goes you need someone with experience. Fresh out of school mechanics usually don't understand the dynamics and how the shop environment works, which leads to lost time, silly mistakes, comebacks, and other assorted teething issues. Trust me, I have worked with enough to know that this is true with 90 percent of "new" grads, and I have hired enough "new" techs to be confident in my assessment. They will get better, but you need someone who knows whats going on, and has been in a shop before to play ringleader. Running a shop is difficult, and 90 percent of them make the same mistakes that lead to their eventual doom. I could nearly write a book on how NOT to run a shop with all the experiences I have had straightening them out. |
Do it lol i would buy it lol
|
Just liked the page on FB. What parts can you get? J's racing, audio parts?? Just pm'd about polishing quotes.
love the big azz domo |
Thanks for that. I'll have Reina put all the items that are available for sale on the facebook page soon.
|
Tell that to , theyve been renting their lifts for $15 an hour well over a year now, the owner and manager rack the cars though. This guy has the right idea! |
Right. We would have to operate the lift.
|
well, once the car is racked the user has the freedom to raise and lower the vehicle as they see fit.
Were there lifts already there or are you having them installed? |
I bought one.
