Let me know when you want to pull that interior and I'll help you out as long as I don't have to work.

koby 06-26-2011 09:03 PM

Picked up a longblock for my crx thursday, got a jumper for it a couple weeks ago thanks to SloDezl, and picked up an ecu from Trick. Pics will be up soon.

xswingkidx 06-27-2011 09:54 PM

installed a new thermostat tonight. I now remember that I hate working on my car during the summer.

dan 06-30-2011 01:15 AM

die in a dick fire noob 06-30-2011 05:46 AM

^ except anyone seriously thinking about stealing a honda probably has a jumper harness and obd1 ecu at the ready... kill switch would still be a good idea.

SlowEFSedan 06-30-2011 11:30 AM

yeah i want a kill switch still tho like on the truck lock for a kill or something lol

2poor2tune 06-30-2011 10:36 PM

I have a kill switch and a couple tricks that I know will keep the car from being driven aay. I'm just worried about shit being stolen off or out of it.

SlowEFSedan 06-30-2011 11:07 PM

KevinIsAfag 07-05-2011 12:13 AM

Car started intermittently sputtering at idle and then hard to start. switched out distributors. Upon reassembly I found a broken plug wire end. I'll check the old distributor later itll be nice to know i still have a spare. Also made me realize I need valve cover grommets.

dan 07-05-2011 07:46 AM

I did the same thing yesterday. New Cap, Rotor, and ignition wires. Still runs like shit though :(
Could maybe have something to do with the blown headgasket?

KevinIsAfag 07-05-2011 03:04 PM

Mine runs fine.

2poor2tune 07-05-2011 04:15 PM

a headgasket only takes a couple hours... lmk haha

Saucey 07-05-2011 05:39 PM

Bought a Gauge Cluster, Seats, Wiper Arms, and a Spare from an SI.

Realized when I got home the Gauge Cluster was not the stock one (cause I'm not that bright some times), and the spare is a 14" which still wouldn't let the board over the back sit flush. So returning the Cluster and spare tomorrow. Need to get nuts for the wiper arms, possibly re-paint them. The SI seats seem to be off by a few millimeters on 1 hole. At least on the drivers side, hopefully the passenger side is better.

Edit: Turns out the cluster is from an Integra, 94-99 I believe.

dan 07-05-2011 07:27 PM

I think I'm gonna have a go at it this weekend. I just need to buy a headgasket. Any suggestions on where to get one for the best price?

Saucey 07-05-2011 08:27 PM

Finished getting the seats in. The SI seats seem to lean my upper body back more, is that's how it's suppose to be? I'd almost like them to move one more click towards vertical, but they won't adjust very far forward.
