If you're looking for an AP1 try to get an 03 as they should have all the updates for an AP1. If you're looking for an AP2 try to get an 06+ as flash pro is a nice mod. As far as the clamps if the bolts are loose of the clamps have wear they will rattle. Some people replace them with hardtop clamps and seems to do a better job others just put a little vacuum hose on the hook and call it good.
