First reviews on the new ND Miata
These are with the JDM spec 1.5 liter - instead of the everywhere else 2.0 engine.
That being said - I don't ever recall Road and Track giving a car such praise. Can't wait. And man, is that a good looking thingy in black. |

looks like a z3 to me
|
Looks like a gay Fabio is driving it.
|
It's the marmo-wig he made with the 3d printer.
I like what I've read but quite honestly it looks awful, maybe some getting used to |
|
Makes me really hope that Toyota gives the MR2 Spyder a rebirth.
|
I wish as well, but that would be doubtful since the FRS/BRZ thing.
I cant wait to see the ND Miata vs FRS test. I am pretty sure one will get handily dispatched, and I don't think the loser will be the one wearing the Mazda badge, |

Is there a release date for america?
|
It doesn't matter who wins the race because the Miata will always remain the most fabulous.:superghey:
|
It is rumored (not yet confirmed) that the US version will have 155HP / 148 torques.
Given the weight loss, that would probably mean it is pretty close (if not slightly faster) to the acceleration numbers as the current (NC) Miata - which does 0-60 in about 6.5 seconds, but is 220lbs heavier and has ~10 more HP. |
|
Oh, and a ultra lightweight carbon fiber luggage rack for the trunk lid. lol.
|
miata > frs / brz
purely because miata. |

Looks like a the s2k, z3 and the miata had a threesome and this was the child that was born.
Front looks like an s2k cross breed with an NC. Rear looks like a z3. Not the best to look at but, I will be interested to see how well it will perform. |
