Any one have a em1 knob to take p ic and or boot?
What is up dudes and dudettes ? I am looking to see if a em1 shift boot or the ring will fit a 98 usdm itr shift knob. The itr one is discontinued. Em1 seems obtainable . The jdm ring does not fit the knob. I am looking to see how the piece that clips on is clocked. Thanks. Or if anyone had a 97-98 USDM ITR shift boot for sale let me know .

No one has a em1 or threw the original one in the tool box when they installed super dope skunk 2 knob?

If anyone cares I bit the $20 bullet lol and bought the em1 shift boot and the ring fits the knob and plays the part quite well from a far. The base needs to be swapped to fit the integra. The jdm has SHARP edges compared to the em1 version for some reason so be careful. I suggest wearing mechanix gloves.

20 bucks ain't bad. I had a hunch it might work

Yeah retail is a little higher than that but it's very cheap to most of the stuff I buy for these cars. Maybe in the future I will buy another one and a 2000 usdm boot and try to mate the ring with the Acura boot to counterfeit the discontinued item. Lol. I also found the original boot to my ek hatch inside of the jdm boot bag that replaced it in 2003. It STINKS! Like rubber. I can't imagine what it would be like inside a car.

Looks like he has a usdm shift knob with a usdm ring on a red stitched jdm boot. If its a stock boot I REALLY REALLY want to know what car it is for. The boot seems taller than my jdm ctr boot. I think if I were to be able to swap the rings some gears would tug the boot off the clip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
