as the tittle states where were you born/raised? how long have u been in arizona? i moved here from Detroit about 6 months ago. its been a nice change from the Detroit weather

I"m from Pittsburgh. Moved here freshman year of high school, back in fall of 2003. Moved to Florida for 1.5 months in like 2008, then came back here.

Pittsburgh is nice been there a few times but also to cold for me, arizona seems to fit me well. i heard the summers can be brutal though. i got a glimpse of what im getting my self into a couple months back lol

Spent a year or so in Utah with my mom when she moved out there to help her out.

Born in California, lived there for 12 years, moved to Arizona in 97, lived there for 13 years, and moved back to California 2.5 years ago

Born in Leon, Guanajuato Mexico. Been in PHX for 17 years. I need change, would love to leave the state.

Born and raised in Southern California until I was 17 join the army moved around a lot met my wife here in 2003 and I've been a resident of AZ from then on .....won't ever go back to the commie state

I was born in Michigan, came here when I was 5. Did a few stays for 3-9 months back in Michigan over the years, but I've pretty much been in Az for 21/22 years. I don't really like it here but having lived and traveled, I know it's a decent place, I just hate summer really bad. California would be the goal but I consider Washington and Oregon also.

born in phx, lived in western PA for a few years, in central OR for a couple summers. Can't get away now though.

Moved here in 05. From So Cal and Central Coast.

I come from the land of the hillbilly where the trees are green, the rain never stops, and the women are either really hot - or really hideous.

Where I am from, there are no black,brown, or even tan people. Even if you are a slight shade of off-white some corn fed inbred brain dead redneck bubba will probably kill you and feed your lifeless body to his pigs. I am serious when I say I did not see a real live black person till I was 17. Seriously, not even my family was invited to my wedding (wife is black.)

There are three kinds of people where I am from:

Hillbilly - most people get these fine folk confused with rednecks. Hillbillies are good, honest, working people. They don't mind other ethnic groups because "them darkeys never done nuthin' to dem." Hillbillies are also very intelligent, despite their simple communication skills. I am a hillbilly, and proud of it.

Redneck :Racist, ignorant, and intolerant. Not to be confused with hillbillies. Often obese and despite their hatred of black people, usually like rap music.

Cowboy : See redneck, but thinner, and more obnoxious. Often wears too large hat, stupid boots, and wranglers. Every time I ever had to kick someone's ass, it was a cowboy. No manners. Also offended if you ask them where they parked their herd.

Oddly enough, despite the rural nature of my homeland - my highschool was amazing. Tons of shop, automotive, and skilled classes.

Moved out here a little over ten years ago, and never looked back.

I feel like to properly respond to the topic, a bit of explanation is needed. A simple Kentucky just doesn't answer the question when you are from where I grew up!

I guess I can understand that, there isn't much to say about Arizona other than it's filled with you mugs from all over america. haha

Parker az till I was 16 move here to Phxs for about 6 years then went to the Bay Area for a year and now I'm back in Phxs so I would say I got about 12 years here lol
