5th gen prelude cabin air filter

I found that the cabin air filters for the 5th gen Prelude are a dealer only item, and they are $28.99 each (it takes two). I went to my autozone and they showed a fit for the '01 Accord. I ordered it and found that they are the same height and width, but about 1 1/2 inches longer. Simple fix, I cut about 1 1/2 inches off of them (with sharp scissors) and they fit perfectly. The best part is that they were $17.88 for a two pack! :o That's about a $40.00 savings.

The part # is: Purolater C15390

Happy driving

It makers a diffrence I've work in a dealership and I've had to agrue with people that your a/c will blow alittle colder and stronger almost like new. Some don't belive me tell I give them the before and after airflows and temps sometimes it goes from 52-48 degrees down to about 38-36. But granted that's with a system charge and new filters and ducts blown out just invade if there was and dust or dirt or pennys crayons
