i need to do this. mine feels like craaap...just loose and "notchy" over bumps. i want to replace my power rack with a manual one, and i'd like to replace all four of the front ball joints.

well when i got the skunk2 upper arms the ball joints came with them obviously, the lowers i used moog, the tie rods are moog, the wheel bearings are timken, the rack was a rebuilt rack off of ebay from a guy called garo-steering, all the bushings are energy suspension.

I started laying all the carbon fiber in my engine bay, what a pain in the ass, should look good when its done.

Its not hard, did it on my EF. took 2 days for the whole swap.

just drove it to work, but my turbo build was finally painted over the weekend! pics when i can get them

i put in my new axels and i still have a problem with my wheel shaking nasty

well a lil bit of the work has been started, about half-ish of the spot welds have been cut, i just really have no idea where to go with it :retard:

please enlighten me on the how-to (pm plz)


oh and today i painted my emblems hot mutha fuckin pink just cuz i can!!

heres my on going build thread.

jack the front end up and grab the tire, shake it up and down, if it's wobbly or loose it's your lower ball joint or wheel bearing, shake it left and right, if it's wobbly or loose its either your inner or outer tie rods, i'd say outers are worn and maybe your rack end bushing is warn. have you inspected the brakeS?

Just cruised around today after I re-painted my wheels and changed my thermostat!! I need to replace all my suspension bushings too! My steering wheel shakes a lil on the freeway!!
