camshaft endplay
 

im in the process of installing my cams on my b20b (nonvtec) and while reading the helms manual it says to set the end play of the cam shafts. however i have done a lot of searching and have not be able to find more info on this. in all the how to videos and wright ups no body ever checks the end play. is there a special tool or can i just use feeler gauges?

any info on how to properly check end play, or if its even totally necessary would be very helpful.

I haven't read the helms on this but usually things like this are done with a dial indicator.
