Thanks man, the car runs and drives amazing. I added a set of Skunk Pro 1 cams, gears and LMA's and the car was on the dyno but my CC twin disk spline litterally ate itself. So when the tranny got pulled to send the clutch to CC to see about getting a warrenty, I decided it was time to get the gear set sent to Liberty and get the Liberty Gears Face plating work. I also got the Liberty Cuff and the Speedfactory SCHA. The gearset should be here maybe by the end of next week or so and then everything should be back together ready for the dyno.

I am shooting for 750 with this turbo, I am going to use this turbo for a while and then maybe next year jump to a 6266 and that should be enough to put me over 800.

LOL, it will be back on the lift soon, my gear set should be back from liberty soon, the the trans will go back in then back to Joe.. From there the damn track haha..

guess i'll see her there next! i bought new amr coils, just waiting on lca's and bushings to arrive and then mine will be back at the car spa for a couple days. those welds on that fuel cell look like things of beauty. did they fab that or was it a unit that you purchased?

No the tank was the FCS unit that I bought that was off of Joes car.

Nice build, I'm putting together a fis build as well. You face plated stock gsr gears? I have been decideing betweeg dog gears and heat treated gears. Hoping to go 9:xx good to see I'm not the only one!

Yep face plated the stock gears which turns them into dog gears. I think this is a good option for now.

What cage is that? Or who fabbed it

It is a fabbed chromoly tig welded cage. It was done as a one off project for my car, the shop doesn't do it for customers.

I am tuned on both ignite 114 and e98.. I am using 114 until I use all of Joes supply and then I will move over to e98.

Last time it was tuned we made the same power on both fuels, this time around I am hoping to hit 750 with the new cam swap. I am still on the t3/t61 61mm turbo. I am going to stick with that for a while but when I want more power I may either build my current turbo or switch to the 6266 and shoot for 800.

I really want to stick with the 62mm setup so I can stay in the FIS class.

she's running strong, im just going ham on the small things. Right now that's my DD but by tax season she'll be spending less time on the road.

Nice, years ago I stopped DD my car.. You just get to the point that you want a stock ride, quiet, comfy, just regular.. not to mention you are always worried someone is going to try and steal it when you go places.
The more you build the car the less reliable it starts to get, so it is just nice to have a good stock car. I got my TSX, the wife has her TL and I got the race car and never have to rely on it, only need it to work when I am at the track LOL..

Where do you get your e98 from? And how much is it if you don't mind me asking.

Joe carries e98, I currently am running Ignite 114 which I also buy from Joe.. He charges around 14 dollars a gallon.

Just thought I would add some pics of the bay without the tranny back yet. Everything in the bay was done by me, full fuel system tuck, wire tuck, brakeline tuck I created and built on my own with parts for Parker Store, I shaved the entire bay, body worked and sprayed the bay.

I shaved, sprayed and did all this back in 2010 so you can see how well it has held up, I will get more pics once everything is back together and in the car.

I thought about the skunk2 Ultra but there wasn't that much of a power difference. Someone tested it on Honda Tech and only picked up like 15 or 20 horsepower. I thought about the Kinsler but I think you can't run an alternator anymore and have to change to a 14 volt setup.

The Edlebrock is a winner, heck I still am using a type r throttle body. Honestly I think throttle bodies and crazy manifolds are for guys going for a 1000 horsepower LOL.

If you dont mind me asking what does the liberty face plating cost?

Liberty Face Plating and the Liberty Cuff is about $1200 dollars, it is also a good investment to get the Speed Factory SCHA wich is about $475.

Called Liberty on Friday to see what was up with the gear set Locash sent out for me. Lady tells me they would call me back because the tech was at lunch. So it's Wednesday I give them a call and the lady tells me "sorry they didn't call you back, they all went to the PIR event for a week and won't be back till next week".

I love how these companies can just say f&&& it and leave for a week to go out to events and just say screw the customers paying for services. I can understand if some of the techs and staff go out to sell products at events but to basically close down shop is BS.

Sorry for the rant but its not like they will let me delay payment when they are done or get reduced prices for them being slow..

Not the first time I've heard bad things from liberty. Car really came a long way from when I sold you the inlinepro cast manifold.

Yep three built motors since I sold that setup.
