Race wars arizona

Who's going?

king06 03-06-2015 01:42 AM

As badass as roll racing is, $150? I guess that will weed out the slow pos cars.

A_integra1012 03-06-2015 01:57 AM

Lol yea 150$ that is if you pre-register . It is 180$ at the gate . Supposebly it is gona be a pretty big event.

AZ_CIVIC 03-06-2015 06:52 AM

Their restrictions will weed out the fast guys as well.

Spec C 03-06-2015 08:36 AM

What specifically restriction wise? Needing dot approved DR's?

cbaracing 03-06-2015 09:14 AM

tis true but lets hope all that is behind you now :bunny2:

king06 03-06-2015 09:38 AM

No bias plys

No skinnies

Dot approved tires only

Helmet

Spec C 03-06-2015 02:58 PM

Lol so a helmet and dot tires are going to keep "all the fast cars" from showing up?

There's plenty of fast cars that made it out to "no fly zone" with the same rules. Cars that were trapping 200+ in the standing half.

English racing integra traps just under 190 in the half on dot tires. I'd say that's pretty fast...

AZ_CIVIC 03-06-2015 04:05 PM

So all those guys are going to race wars?
What is the pay outs?
How is their prep?

Spec C 03-06-2015 04:19 PM

You said "the restrictions will weed out the fast cars" I asked what specifically and for you to quantify your statement. It shouldn't be difficult to explain what "regulations" you're referring to.

Their rules seem consistent with every other set of rules I see at these types of races, which are packed with ridiculously fast cars. In fact the tech at most of these is a joke compared to 1/4 mile tracks.

Now it's payouts and prep? Which is it?

A lot of extremely fast cars turned out for "no fly zone" and there is another this weekend which should be a good turn out. Being this type of racing is extremely popular right now I'd anticipate a decent turnout.

Jason.AZ1 03-06-2015 04:32 PM

From my understanding
No prep
No burn outs

The guy who owns the "1000hp" "9sec" supra is hosting the show
I won't be attending it cause of that reason.

AZ_CIVIC 03-06-2015 04:55 PM

I'm just asking questions..

AZ_CIVIC 03-06-2015 05:04 PM

Jason didn't you know

Everyone makes 1000hp and runs 9's
Everyone has a buddy who runs 9's
Everyone can run 9's with a little spray on street tires
Everyone owned a 9 second car
Everyone can build a 9 second car no problem

When it comes time to run those 9's, with their 1000 hp on a little spray, with street tires, with their car, that they built, um crickets LOL

Jason.AZ1 03-06-2015 05:09 PM

9's are so last year it's all about 6.6sec rwd civics:slaphands:

AZ_CIVIC 03-06-2015 05:24 PM

According to everyone 9's were so 2002, since everyone is OG's LOL

AZ_CIVIC 03-06-2015 05:25 PM

It's all about the 5.97 second world record supra now.

LS-S DA9 03-06-2015 06:03 PM

5800? Too late jr! Lol.
Chuck your car is starting to be like my boss's mustang, never gunna be finished or ready to race.

Chuck Chainz 03-06-2015 06:07 PM

Jesse, it's been done, and finished.

Ill let you wash it.

Spec C 03-06-2015 06:30 PM

No. You made a statement, in your first post, and have yet to explain further. I have no clue one way or another what restrictions there are. Nor do I care if this thing is a giant flop.

Jason- it says no burnouts outside the track. Do you know something different? Shit it'd be fun to go just to see what that supra does lol

king06 03-06-2015 08:18 PM

Lol link? How do you know his hosting it?

Az I doubt there's any prep or any sort of pay outs, maybe for the show, but not the half mile. Rules are super relaxed, no safety gear required besides a helmet. I can go as fast as my pos is willing to go with sandles and T-Shirt lol.

1slowEJ1 03-06-2015 08:29 PM

:blunt:Im in

AZ_CIVIC 03-06-2015 08:34 PM

You would figure that paying 150-180 bucks to run your car especially when they are talking about people who will win fastest bike, fastest car etc. they would kick some cash back out. Looking at their website I didn't see anything about that.

For 180 a piece I can get some guys together and rent out Firebird for a day and make all the passes I want. Joe was talking about doing this if we can get enough guys to throw down. These big entry fees is why you have people taking it to the streets.

A_integra1012 03-06-2015 11:37 PM

I agree with what your saying , price is high . If only speedworld stayed opened.

AZ_CIVIC 03-07-2015 09:44 AM

Yeah that would be real nice, especially since they have the 303 done which allows you connect from the 17 right on over to the 303. Back in the day I always had to go through Sun City and all the crap.
