DA brake qouestion
 

so im trying to figure out my squeeling problem on my integra... only thing i can come up with is the little clip that hlds the brakes into place on the caliper bracket..my question is....if i took that clip off will my brakes be ok? i know i sound like a NOOB but i have actually worked on cars for 7 years now...just have never dealt with this problem before...

the tab is there to let you know your pads are wearing
you can take it off to stop the squealing
just dont forget that you took it off
your pads will wear down to the rivets and eat your rotors

^^^not the clips on that actual pad....its the clip/bracket that holds the pads in place

lube it up and stick it back in
