Anyone heard of Prestige Imports? I know Craigslist is ze suck for shop ads but wanted to check before I cancelled out any thought of using these guys.

I saw this post as well. Don't know what to think since there's no mention of them anywhere else.

Well i hate to throw bad news about local shops out there but here is my opinion on these guys. I went threw them..found them on craigs list also..bought B20Z w/ vtec head(crvtev) after market pistons..got it to the house finished the swap..yadda...yadda..yadda. THere were no spark plugs in it, i had to replace the distrib. coil just to get it started...along with other small issues with the build. They said there is a 3000 mile warranty to where if there is a problem they will fix it ..called and called..left messages after messages...never got a call back. So it is like i said it is from my experience that they are not straight up with what they say they will do..good luck

Long ass story. Well my friend gives me this number to this shop sayn they do swaps at good prices. So i give him a call he told me a GSR into my EF9 for $2900 and it would take about 2 1/2 weeks :but: they have an LS Vtec motor at the shop that would cost 3100 and if i drop it of thursday id get it back next thursday because they have the motor at the shop. So i drop off my car they tell me there 3 cars infront of mine that they need to finish b4 they start mine.. Thats fair so i give em a week next thursday i go down there to see whats sup CAR LOOK THE SAME BUT WITH A FLAT TIRE they havent done shit to my car exept for parked it so i ask well where the motor at he tells me the blocks getin sleeved. So i texxt em and call em non stop everyday to se whats the progress and never no answer. So i go down there once a week and they tell me still waitn for the block. End of the second week he text me do you want a b20 instead its 300 more tho i sayd do you have it there they sayd ya so i sayd ok. I go down there to see what they have done.. Finally the motors out and indeed they have the block there and the internals they say they will have the block done by that night... Next day i text there still not done with the block... I got down there again later that week and my dad ask... What time frame should we wait. 2weeks? The guy says no way earlyer. So my dad says by next friday. The guy says ya ill give you a call cause well probably finish early. Friday come im in class i get a text......... "It will be done monday for sure ill even take 150 off 4 the wait" So i leave em be all weeeknd... I blow there phones up on monday..(TODAY) No answer so i go down there..... THERE NOT THERE. THEY DIDNT EVEN COME IN TODAY. MY CARS STILL PARKED IN THE SAME PLACE WITH NO MOTOR. My motor mount is still in the passenger seat in the say position its been for 2weeks. THE NEIGHBORS SAY THEY HAVE BEEN FUCKIN UP BIG TIME COME IN FOR 2HOURS THAN LEAVE........ FUCK THEM :upyours:

Well shit i wanted it to be done in a time frame. THey sayd they could do it in that time frame. So i took it. And plus i hadda fucken get it towed over there and my mom had took some money away for financial reason but gave it back soon after. Or else i would hav taken it to one of the guys i askd in the first place.

Never seems to have what im looking for (EVER) but knows what he is doing and i would trust him with my car anyday... :thumbsup:
