B16 with gsr oil pump.
Im wondering if a 95 gsr oil pump is a direct swap over to use on a 91 jdm b16. Any help would be appreciated.

ok well now that i am home and on the computer... the oil pump is same part number, the tensioner is the same part number, the tensioner spring is DIFFERENT, and the water pump is Different..
Just match the water pump with the oil pump I believe
If part numbers are different there's a chance they may not work. Id go with matching oem parts to prevent ANY mishaps!
like i posted... tensioner and oil pump match.. the tensioner spring and water pump do NOT! all i care about it the tensioner and oil pump since i already have them around..
Well spring use the one that's better as far as water pump I think u gotta match it
i know you have to use b16 water pump... its fine no need to replace since i have a new thermostat, radiator, hoses and only hit about 1/3rd on my gauge WITH intercooler in the summer on an integra...
i have a brand new tensioner spring.. im just trying to figure out this noise (hoping tensioner) and all the sudden my 4 pound lower oil pressure(already tried an oil/filter change) hoping the 22 year old oil pump and tensioner are finally tired and just need replaced.. the advantage is i happen to have an oil pump and tensioner around from my sloooow ass gsr build |
Match water pump to timing belt.
grrr ADMINS CLOSE?!? i have already found and POSTED the answer and im still getting repeat answers lol
Bro, just match the timing belt to the water pump.. The gsr oil pump should be a direct swap, because they are the same part#..

Lol..
