Its a sad day, he is gone... I just hope as a community we can pull together and pick up the slack of supporting the scene like he did. IMO you can't call a factory mass produced engine "built" as that term has always been reserved for aftermarket modification by 3rd party or end user.

But that goes along with if you have a car that is built for only drag racing, yet it has to have a full interior for your drag racing class, and it has a plate on it - yet you never drive it on the street - it isn't a "street car" it is a "drag car."

I never understood why a large percentage of drag guys try to pass off their purpose built drag cars as "street" cars when they are not. I can put a plate on a tractor, that doesn't make it instantly a street car. Having a plate on something does not matter. What the car is, does most of the time, and was built for is what defines the type of car it is.

Oh well.
