So I am considering buying an em1 for a daily driver. I messaged some guy using this site and still haven't received a response. This site seems to say he responds quickly. Which doesn't seem to be the case . I also think the same guy was selling this car last year around this time . Seems this site is worst than Craigslist . Has had anyone had luck using this thing? Maybe I am doing something wrong.? Also there is another guy selling one and he is located in west valley and in another ad in north valley. Seems like a scam. Any input on the site , cars,or sellers would be appreciated. Thanks.

My only experience with offer up is from a news story about people meeting at public place to see iphone and the person grabbed the phone and ran off

So I went to look at this thing and it was a bucket. It was advertised as clean. The bumper and hood were covered in crows footing ( not the normal crow foot I have seen on some Hondas). The door jambs appeared to be flat black but vins were present there?? They also had weird taxi like reflector stickers in the doors by the actuators. Another wtf? Underneath the hood is the fun part. Oil dripping from vtec solenoid and probably elsewhere where. The cam seal is either the worst aftermarket cam seal or the worst ghetto rig I have ever seen . Coolant reservoir empty and supposedly the head gasket was replaced. Ac condenser was painted black. Car managed a nice James Bond smoke screen pull on a a partial throttle vtec pull and less on the next one. The suspension was decent and drove straight I will give the car that . Of course the ground was in the wrong spot too Chris lol. I drove like 160 miles round trip to see this thing. Huge bust. Funny thing is the guy just raised the price on the thing for another $250.

wish i would have known this is the one you were going to look at it. poor thing has been passed around like a cheap whore after being sold by a known car fipper. which makes it a no no please stay away from car :guns:
