Nice write up, appreciate it. I have been looking in to this for a while. Everyone I ask says they are just drop in.

That what I found out too. Until I wanted to do this but as you can clearly see they are not drop in either. The fronts are a little easier.

As you can clearly see in the pics they do not drop right in the lock do not line up and on the bottom seat the loops are not in the same spot as the stock locations and the loop where the 10mm bolt goes in that loop in on the right side of the car. Not drop in your friend is not right. Maybe another model but not in an EK.

Those are not your seats. The fronts I bought from whata4dr and the rears came from ebay. A friend of mine bought your seats. I had these in my car already when I had bought yours. Your seats are newere than mine I got min from an 06. The fronts sit lower than the ones you had.

And the ones I got from you were put in another EK. So the ones in these pics are not your seats. That was the plan when we got them from you but that is not what we did. So they are not the seats I got from you.

Bump ...ima keep this handy wen I do my back ones too, I had them for a while .good write up. do u know if the cOupe back seats are different than the sedan( of course on the si models)???

I know it's an old thread but in case anyone tries this in the future I just wanted to post this.


This is a great write up but you can actually just switch the fabric and padding from the 06+ rears onto the frame of the stock seats. Took me about 20 min and they bolt up perfect.

Gotta stop and give you props :thumbsup:
