Need Help Fast
 

Alright I have a D16a6 that was stop for a while. I just got her going this past weekend but got that "irratic Idle". I bled the coolant system, and still that same, cleaned out the EAVC, no luck, also replaced, and still the same...
I just took off the intake system, and heard the breather hose from the valve cover to the intake, giving out a loud suction. I put my finger over it and the irratic idle stopped...
Is that normal? While having my finger on the line, I unscrewed the oil filler cap, and felt the suction from there now, and the idle starts again...

Am I supposed to have the suction into the head?????

Please help....

I know its called "VACUUM" but bever had it that strong to cause the irratic idle when its connected the way it is supposed to be...... If I cover it its all fine....Can I just leave it covered? Or is there something else to it??

I Think I will end up doing that, if I can't make that irratic idel to stop....
One more thing, Could it be my oil pump? What are the signs/symptoms of a bad,or going bad oil pump?

I think I just found out the problem, PCV Valve, it was loose and now seems fine, I will replace it, and hopefully that is all it needs....

Yes Sir... Shes all done, and ready...... a new $4 pcv valve solved the problem...
