maybe a bit too saturated and the, red/green tones are wrong. what are you using to edit??
They do look like there sharpened a tad to much.
I think your lighting is OK.
The first one looks as if the focus point was on the middle of the car and you were shooting at too low an F-stop. orrr you werent using a tripod, maybe even manually focusing. |
In a few it was manual focus. I was trying to understand the flash and make everything with to get a good histogram and look good.
photoshop 7.0, i never really learned how to use it, i just toy around with it in my spare time.
yeah, i noticed that when i printed them out |
The only time I would ever use manual focus is if I had a macro and an extreme tripod. Personally I can never get completely solid pictures when manually focusing.
I will agree with that one. I was trying it out and the outcome was decent.
probably not the best editing program for someone who just wants to touch stuff up. Download Lightroom
Try the same picture with a bit more power to the flash, F8 or 11, ISO 300-500, Auto focus, and Tri pod... might think about using a diffuser or something to bounce the flash up and back down on top of the car as well.
That sounds like a good idea, I didn't even think about the diffuser on top to get light up there. And the flash was bounced off the wall. I will take that challenge... Give me some time.
And go! |

pic #2 was good. good rule of thirds, good leading, composition...editing was on point, or at least pleasing enough.
 |
was that with the 35mm?
Yes it was. It was cool to use. Thanks Brad.

C, damn my iPhone camera is fubar. I never ever use it, the center 50% of frame is horribly yellow. :( Those came out great! And yeah F2.8 @ like 1mm, lol. No DOF what soever haha. Just get the mount so you can put proper optics on, pssschhh :P
