The best thing that happened to the suns is that they fired D'antoni. I hated his style of play and that his rotation was so limited. Looks like Porter is going to go to the bench a lot this year, which is a good think concidering Shaq's and Nash's age.

We kept winning and that's all that mattered. Mostly every suns fan liked that style of play he implemented and it was fun to watch. Hopefully it works out though and our defense gets better.

Less than an hour to go.....................I hate to say it but i have a feeling we will get whooped.

Ehh I'm expecting more or less the same from SA this year as I do from the Suns...good team, playoffs, but not expecting anything more than 1st or 2nd round.

Well, it's a much slower playing style, with more emphasis on defense...pretty boring but with a 49-46 lead at half time AFTER like 5 hack-a-Shaq plays, I'll take it.

if we dont win this game by 10 or more im starting the fire porter train. he is using less of our bench than dantoni did....30 secs for everyone on the bench doesnt prove that you are willing to do things different. and his offensive playbook seems weak as hell!

I was able to watch the first quarter, shooting was horrible from both teams.

I think this game is making me feel like the new coach is just taking away from what the Suns had, speed. It seems TOO relaxed and overall, cookie cutter. Welcome home dad.

IMO seems like they are still trying to mesh in together and adjust to the new strategies. They still have 12 fastbreak points which isnt bad against the Spurs. Overall it was a decent game. It would have definitely been different with Ginobitch though. Robin Lopez looked good in the game though.

if dunkin would have hit the flat ass three pointer at the end of the game, they prob would have lost in OT, shaq and amare looked really confused on D the whole night, they didnt communicate well it seemed and always thought the other guy was gonna guard the rim.

they ended up getting more time in the end...so i spoke too soon. Still not to impressed with that victory.
